[♥ Takirah ♥]

Anyone in the Pridelands can RP here. Outlanders, stay away.


Takirah scrambled to the top of Pride Rock. As long as you were a Princess, King or Queen, you could come up here. But the Den of the King and Queen was off limits. Takirah was making sure to avoid the den. She just wanted to get a better view of the world. Every half-cub wants that. She was only one year old. She had never been to he Outlands, so why not get a look from above? With one last jump, Takirah made it to the top of Pride Rock. She strode forth and looked over the edge. Whoa! I wouldn't want to fall off of this... Takirah shuddered. She looked up, and gazed upon the Pridelands. "There's the oasis, Wildebeest Valley, the Savannah.." she trailed off, and caught site of a heap of bones southwest of the Pridelands. "The Elephant Graveyard!" she thought out lopud. Takirah grinned, and wished she could just strut into the Outlands, without getting her fur ripped off by an Outlander. Grumpy balls of fluff, she thought to herself. She laid down on the dusty rock and closed her eyes, and let the wind blow through her fur.

Taki saw Takirah scramble to the top of Pride Rock and followed her. As he climbed up he said out loud, "Hello Princess. Don't be alarmed I am just here to talk." He finished climbing to the top. Taki was still a little new to the Pridelands and there were still things he didn't know. He looked around and saw everything for miles. He saw the Elephant Graveyard and the dark lands of the Outlands and shuddered. "Stupid Outlanders. I hate my ancestry." The young dark lion sighed and sat down near to where he could climb down if need be. He waited for Takirah to reply.

Sorry! I forgot the URL. I kept typing proboards83 instead of 85. I am so hopelessly confused... But, alas! I shall RP every day! *cackles maniacally* Lolz. Now, on to RP!

Takirah sniffed the air and opened her blue eye. "Oh. Hi, Taki," she meowed softly. "Glad to get some company!" Standing up, she kicked a pebble off of the rock, and leaned over to watch it drop to the ground. She stretched, and sat down, curling her tail around her feet. Blowing the tuft of long fur out from her eyes, she looked to Taki. As he stared out over the Pridelands, she scanned him from head to tail. Not to long ago, he had come to the Prideands from the Outlands. Takirah automatically had accepted him much faster than any other lioness would. Everyone else refused to trust an outsider. Even her own outsider friend, Na'ami, had taken at least two days to warm up to him. sure, every outlander was most always grumpy, but these lions were different. Na'ami couldn't stand the living conditions and the cruelty of the Outlands, so she had came to the Pridelands. Now what about Taki? she thought to herself, looking the new Pridelander over again. Her hair fell in front of her face agina, and she didn't bother to blow it away. Taki turned his head towards her, and Takirah quickly turned her head back, pretending to look into the distance Oh, I hope he didn't notice me staring at him like that! she thought, nervously twitching her nose. "Scary how long the savannah stretches, huh? I'd love to go unting with the kind today, but he thought it would have been better if I had stayed here," she said, frowning.

[Taki]

Taki smiled at Takirah and replied, "Would you like to hunt with me Takirah?" The dark lion padded over and sat next to the princess, "If your wondering why I left the Outlands then its simple. My parents betrayed the Pridelanders and when I left them it took awhile to settle in here and when the Outlanders were making one of their stupid attacks I had a choice to make. Stay and fight with the Pridelanders or fight with my parents. I chose the to stay with the Pridelanders. Now I have been well looking for someone who loves me and who I love back." Taki paused and then blurted out, "Takirah will you be my mate?" As soon as that came out of his jaws Taki was horrified. He may like Takirah, but she was a princess and he wasn't really even suppose to be up here. The young lion turned and started padding away waiting for the inevitable.

Takirah turned her head quizzically as the deep brown lion turned and dashed down Pride Rock, pushin Na'ami away as she was climbing to greet Takirah. Na'ami paused and turned her head to watch Taki dash away. After the two she-lions watched him dissappear, Na'ami turned back, strolling back towards Takirah. "Hey, T'irah," she meowed. "What was that?" Takirah shook her head. "Not sure. Taki likes me, and that about all I could understand." Takirah sighed. Every male lion wanted to be her mate. She wasn't sure if she could trust any of them. She knew she liked Taki, too, but she didn't know if he was... trustworthy. She sighed again, and Na'ami spoke. "Alright, alright. I know you like him, T'irah." T'irah rolled her eyes at Na'ami. "Oh, hush, Na'ami." Na'ami purred. "Want to go to the watering hole?" the auburn she-lion meowed. Takirah stood up, blowing her fur from in front of her eye. "M'kay," she said. "Let's go get a drink, too. And catch a bite to eat." Takirah and Na'ami began to leap down the rock, side by side, mixed thoughts running through Takirah's mind.

Taki padded towards the watering hole ashamed at his running away, "Why did I do that?" He mumbled to himself. He like Takirah and he wanted to be with her forever, but he was of Outlander blood. Who would want to trust a lion like him? The dark lion laid near the watering hole and stared down. Taki couldn't believe he looked like his father who was an Outlander and brown like him. He had flashes of his mother now and again and he thought she was the normal sandy tan color like most of the Prideland Lions. Taki sighed and closed his eyes and felt the sun's warmth glow on him as he fell into a light snooze. Taki made a note to himeself to talk to Takirah alone and apologize for what he had done earlier and maybe get in her good graces once more.

then Kyto came along and said "Are you new here?" and i lied down next to Taki. "Do you like living here?" "im new here so i would really need someone who knows the pridelands really well." Looks into the water in sorrow. "so what ya looking at?" "My namme is Kyto" Kyto said depressed. " I'm all alone here cause my mom died this morning." Kyto got up and said "I better get to my lonley cave and go to bed, good luck"
